1. Preparation Before Maintenance:

 1）Confirm Valve Status: Understand the valve model, specifications, material, working pressure, temperature, and the medium it handles.

 2）Develop a Maintenance Plan: Based on the valve's condition, create a detailed maintenance plan, including the tasks, maintenance intervals, required materials, and tools.

 3）Safety Measures: Ensure the safety of the maintenance site by disconnecting the valve from the system, releasing pressure, and draining the medium.

2. Disassembling the Valve:

 1）Remove Dirt: Clean the valve's surface using a brush and cloth to remove dirt.

 2）Mark Positions: Mark the mating surfaces of the valve cover and valve body to ensure accurate alignment during reassembly.

 3）Gradual Disassembly: Disassemble the parts in sequence, taking care to protect each component from damage.

3. Inspection, Repair, and Reassembly:

 1）Valve Body: Inspect the welding quality of the valve body, ensuring no cracks or fractures are present.

 2）Valve Stem and Bolts/Nuts: Check the threads of the valve stem and nuts for damage. Replace any damaged parts, ensuring the valve stem is straight, rust-free, and has a smooth surface.

 3）Sealing Surfaces: Inspect the sealing surfaces and valve seat for severe wear or cracks. Replace aging or damaged sealing materials when necessary.

 4）Other Components: Check and replace any damaged parts.

 5）Reassembly: Reassemble the valve in the reverse order of disassembly. After assembly, check the valve's sealing performance and conduct a test run to ensure smooth operation, proper alignment, and effective sealing.
